NICOLE SMITH

Nicole is Chief Operating Officer at Miller Wenhold Association Management where she works with associations to develop and implement strategies that help them achieve their member value and social impact goals. This includes positioning and branding strategy, conference and event marketing, industry publications, member retention and recruitment programs, media relations, content creation, visual design, and social media strategy. Nicole also designs and manages websites for MW clients.
 

Nicole started her career serving in Senator Barbara Mikulski’s (D-MD) office in Washington D.C as a member of the Senator’s health care team. She developed talking points, conducted stakeholder meetings, and was a liaison between HELP committee staff and the Senator’s office. In addition to legislative and policy experience Nicole has served on multiple congressional campaigns organizing GOTV strategies, and forming messaging strategies. Nicole uses her expertise to develop and implement strategies from legislative policy to political and issue campaigns.

Nicole is currently serving as Director of the National Institute for Lobbying & Ethics (NILE), a trade association for government affairs professionals. 

 

Nicole received her Bachelors Degree in Sociology and Psychology from Salisbury University and her Master's Degree in Public Policy from George Mason University. 

 

Nicole became a champion in 2018 when her Philadelphia Eagles won the Super Bowl and again in 2019 when the Washington Mystics won the WNBA Championship!
