Miller Wenhold Association Management (MWAM) – www.mwassociation.com – is an association management firm located in Fairfax, Virginia. Our clients are trade associations and non-profits.
MWAM seeks an Executive Account Representative who will be responsible for developing and carrying out all membership management, certification, and board management for an MWAM client. We’re looking for a detail-oriented professional who can effectively manage time, prioritize work, and multi-task across competing assignments.
MWAM offers a pleasant work-life balance. This is a full-time position located in Fairfax, VA. The position requires an extremely organized, motivated, self-starter who works with little oversight or supervision, and who can identify problems and quickly develop solutions that focus on results.
Board and committee management, including scheduling meetings, creating agendas and taking detailed meeting minutes.
Project management for various client initiatives.
Provide customer support to members via incoming and outgoing calls and emails.
Assist in maintaining the accuracy of the member database records.
Organize webinar logistics.
Collect content and schedule e-blasts.
Process credits and issue certificates.
Help with event and conference planning.
3+ years experience in association management, membership management, and event management.
Excellent communication skills – both oral and written.
Strong organizational skills with an emphasis on and commitment to customer service.
Strong editing and proofreading skills.
Knowledge of Zoom webinar platform.
Excellent working knowledge of MS Office.
Ability to travel 1-3 times per year.
Knowledge of the Your Membership association management system is a plus.
Conference planning experience is a plus.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree with an excellent work record.
Salary & Benefits:
Salary Range: $50,000 - $70,000 based on experience.
